RayBan 0 Posted August 19, 2009 20:45 Ventspils-Zurich Zurich @ 2.30 6/10 Germanija My opinion is that Zurich is better team then Latvian champion, but we must know that in last round they knock out BATE Borisov and this is for Ventspils biggest club success in 28 year history. Zurich in last match lost at home but they manage to win in second game by 3-0 and go trough in next round The Latvian titleholders replaced coach Roman Grigorchuk with Italian Nunzio Zavettieri just eight days before the first leg of their play-off with Zürich. They also completed a quartet of signings last week, with Argentinian midfielder Rubén Botta and defender Iván Nadal, Belarussian goalkeeper Pavel Chesnovski and Latvian striker Edgars Gauracs joining the club two days after Zavettieri's arrival. Grigorchuk had led Ventspils to a hat-trick of titles.
